Wow. Ten years. It's been an incredible ride for all of us at RTI INDIA. A decade is a long time. Few things in our lives or in the world last that long—the average tech startup doesn't quite make two years. I'm honored and humbled that you've stuck with us all that time, and I promise that in the decade ahead, RTI INDIA will deliver more and better work in the areas of Right to Information. We believe in making data that others hide, transparent and accessible. We believe in delivering remarkable education and easy softwares that everyone can use and feel proud about. We want to gain suggestions from all of you regarding the definition of an 'RTI Activist', both in terms of description as well as quantification. At the end of this Poll and discussion, we want to evolve a true definition which is measurable and can demarcate 'all most' safely an 'RTI Activist'; for example if we are zeroing down to 'number of application filed' to be a criterion, then how much should finally make it to the award. This thread is in reference to following earlier threads: http://www.rtiindia.org/forum/2168-how-do-you-name-right-information-activist.html http://www.rtiindia.org/forum/3158-true-right-information-activist.html http://w…

As part of the global compliance for security of website and providing trust to visitors of our site, we have implemented site wise SSL certificate and most of the pages of the website will be presented with the lock sign in the URL. henceforth, all our URL (Site links) will be https instead of http. SSL is the backbone of our secure Internet and it protects your sensitive information as it travels across the world. With the introduction of SSL certificate our members will be far less likely to fall for a phishing attack also, because they will be looking for the trust indicators in their browser, such as a green address bar, and they won’t see it. Thank You.

At RTI India we get many comments daily on many different topics and there are so many topics in the community that to be honest, we had a tough time remembering the topic being reviewed to offer a timely comment or response. What is Topic Of The Month? Topic of the Month is a contest that select posts on which RTI India community can commit to as a group and then comment/discuss on them during the course of the selected month. Any listed topic (post, thread) is eligible for the Topic of…
