doubt regarding the department and public authority address

Hello, somebody please tell me that how can i know the department (for eg ; if i want to know about the funds allocated to mla, under which department mla comes) and address for PIO. Since i had never written the rti before but now i want to write rti frequently. also please make me clear that whether we have to submit this rti at the address of PIO only?

The MLALAD is implemented by the Collectorate.

 

Utility of the funds in your district / area can be obtained by filing RTI applcation with PIO of the Collector Office.

The information mentioned above by the expert is related to MP fund (MPLAD). However the procedure for MLALAD is quite similar and the information can by filing RTI to the PIO of local collect-orate. If there are more than one PIO, send your RTI to the one who looks after District Planning or simple (To, PIO and address).

for sending RTI application , you need to identify the public authority from whom you want to obtain information and send your RTI application with specific querries leading to information only ( dont ask questions) and send prescribed RTI fees of Rs.10/- mostly and send it to the PIO/CPIO by registered/ speed post so that you can track its delivery details from the India posts. wait for 35-40 days for reply .
