Contact your Head Master, get copy of the laid down procedure for such leave, apply in prescribed application. Even leave on loss of pay must have approval otherwise it can be treated as Absence without leave or absconding. There is such a procedure depending on length service and such necessity, arrangements to get new staff when there is dearth of such qualified staff. Further colleges insist for NOC before admitting in M.Ed.

The ultimate aim should be, students should not be subjected to inconvenience and school should get benefit of that qualification.

(In our state certain teachers were over smart. They have taken admission in local or nearest colleges, appointed teachers on their own by paying pittance, signed attendance register, claimed full salary, attended regular classes, engaged as faculty in residential colleges that pay huge consolidated salary in lakhs without signing registers - on pretext of such study leave. Do not treat as suggestion to you, but a caution that one can be caught at any time)

For your convenience and authentic use of your degree in future, first take NOC from your department and then take admission. For case of unpaid leave, just consult with education department of your state/BEO/DEO office and go through the rules and regulations.
