Can Commissioner reopen complaint u/s 18 if order is treated with contemp?

Question

subash2108

The Chief Information Commissioner issued orders that explanation and affidavits be filed on missing files and documents. The PIO has treated the order of the Commissioner with contempt. Can I approach the Commissioner to take further action by reporting this contempt and asking the Commissioner to take further action?

You have such rights as noncompliance of IC orders is more serious in nature, till you receive the information you can continue such complaints, the matter is treated as closed only if IC's order states as such in his decision

Make all attempts, do not assume things, let them state their objections if any.  Continue your efforts and do not get doubts as you are not investing any huge amounts.  It costs only Rs.22/- for a Registered post.
