EB Metre Reading

Sir,

Digital EB metre installed by TNEB  stopped functioning.The metre reader stated that new metre is not in stock.Will take 15 days time for replacement. New metre was fixed after 20 days. TNEB  ma e some calculations and generated a bill of Rs 7528 ( Bimonthly). I would like to seek information on how they calculated and arrived at a bill for 7528 Rs and orders if any for generating bill when metre is faulty

Kindly advice

You have the right both as a citizen and consumer and can question the process.

Information solicited:

1.Please provide me the laid down process to arrive for calculation of Electricity, if the meter is defective and could not be replaced by TNEB due to inadequate stock of such meters.

2.Please provide such calculation sheeet to Consumer No....................Name...............................address..................
