Can we get the property mortgage infomation from Canara Bank?

Question

yomude

Hello,

As part of the legal case, I want to submit information about the property which is mortgaged in Canara Bank in Pune.

The legal case is related to money where the person who owns the property and suppose to pay money to me but not paying. Thats why the legal case is registered.

As part of the information, I tried to find the information about pending liabilities on that property which mortgaged in canara bank. But bank manager said they can not give such information.

Can I use RTI, to find such information? I want to know basically how much pending liabilities on this. Also this is first time i am using RTI. So any quick help how to file RTI will highly welcomed.
