To curb corruption, RTI is an important tool. All FIRs must be available on the site of State Govt. The coverage of complaint under non-bailable section is corruption prone area. Only honest citizens are punished or taken into custody, while others are shown as absconding. IN TERMS OF RECENT JUDGMENT OF HONRABLE SCI ALL CITIZENS MUST BE OFFERRED BAIL BY POLICE UNLESS HE WAS WANTED & BECAME UNDERGROUND AFTER BAIL. EVEN IF A SINGLE PERSON IS FOUND IN CUSTODY WITHOUT REASON, THE STATION OFFICER MUST BE SUSPENDED & AN ADVERSE ENTRY BE MADE IN THE ANNUAL PERFORMANCE REPORT OF ALL SUPERIORS. I.O./ POLICE MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO VISIT ANY HOUSE OF ACCUSED AFTER 7.00 PM UNLESS HE WAS NOT AVAILABLE OR CONTACTED THE POLICE AFTER RECEIVING MESSAGE. NONE SHOULD BE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY FROM WORK PLACE.
