The matter came to the fore after the employees’ union of the institute filed an RTI, which reads that an employee cannot submit the NOC. After receiving the complaint, the forensic lab team of Chandigarh Police found the signatures on the NOC fake, and that it didn’t belong to any official of the Punjab State Warehousing Corporation. In the case registered in February 2011 in Ambala, the role of several senior bureaucrats and state forest department officials was investigated. The bureau, after completing its report, kept it secret. In the past three months, it headquarters has twice turned down the Right to Information (RTI) Act applications (HT has copies) for details on the grounds that the report is pending with the Haryana government for “final consideration”. Ishan Srivastava posted a question in Ask for RTI Supportrespected all,i'm ishan srivastava,my father was an asstt. director in department of handicrafts,ministry of textiles.unfortunately he passed away in 2000,as he was central government's employee,my mother applied for job on compensation ground after his death,but as till now 12 years have been passed & there is no sign of job..for my mother or for me,so i want to know that what options do i have??as i was minor @ time of his death.there was noone who take this matter to higher officials,my mother sent lots of application & met development commissioner of handicrafts,but only assurance is all she get,so what can i do now?? file an RTI to know why the depart. has not given job?? then can i file a case against them... if any of you will take there precious time to reply stepwise solution for this,i'll be really very much obliged and thankful from bottom of my heart ishan srivastava
