  1. Hello, I have applied for duplicate dmc of my PG English 2nd semester in December 2014. "In next two months, the DMC will be reached to me", they said. But now four months have passed till my application. How could I mentioned my problem in the letter?
  2. Dear Sir, my name is Mohit . I am a BCA student of IGNOU. My enrolment number is 083056266. 1. I took addmission there in July 2008 for 3 years degree course. I submitted my fee in July 2008 and given exams of first semester in December 2008. My regional Centre is Karnal(HR) and Study centre is Rohtak (HR). As per the instruction given by regional centre I submitted my second semester's fee in March to appear in second sememster exam in June 2009 but they didn't allow me to appear in exam and said I registered at wrong time. I was guided wrongly. I received my study material late. It spoiled 6 months of my life. I was very dipressed with it. 2. Secondly, whenever I give exam with good performance, they dont check my papers well. They always give me good marks when I submit revaluation form. It happens with me in every examination. After revaluation the difference of Marks are always upto 15. You can understand that increase of 15 marks show how they evaluate the papers. They dont work on time. I faced many problem during my course and sent more than 1000 emails to them but they didnt ever resolve my problem on time. I had to give my exams in July 2011 and since my course was delayed by 6 months it should have happend in Dec 2011. I have completed all my courses but in December 2011 I again got re-appear in 2 subjects Cs-73 and Cs-74. As usual, I again submitted my revaluation form in February 2012. Since then they have not yet declared the results.I sent many emails and contact them via phone several time but they don't reply. IGNOU has spoiled one year of my career even if I am a good student. I always do my best in papers. They are being a money eater Org. I am not the only student, its happening with thousands of IGNOU students. Please help me. I am very dipressed. It has been more than 7 months and they are not declaring my result. They even don't pick my calls now.
  3. As reported by MUKESH BHARDWAJ at www.expressindia.com on 07 April 2009 Chandigarh The Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) has finally taken cognisance of a relentless campaign waged by a faculty member of the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra, Mahesh Gupta, who had blown the whistle against alleged fictitious travel bills by some of the experts who visited the institute. The CVC has sought detailed information on the points raised by him. It had been quite tough for this whistle blower to keep his fight on, and thus suffered alleged discrimination and bias while his campaign carried on. He procured all the documents to prove his allegations under the RTI and is now waiting the rightful to be done. Gupta has moved the needle of suspicion towards majority of the 23 professors of various IITs of the country including Delhi, Chennai, Kanpur, Mumbai and Kharagpur for making fictitious travel claims. He alleged that in lieu of this favour, some of these professors went to the extent of signing of the blank proceedings of the selection process of the faculty of NIT Kurukshetra. Interestingly, Gupta himself was selected during one of these interviews. It all started when the NIT Kurukshetra conducted interviews for different open posts and promotion under CAS in various departments of the institute. He recalled that one of the members of the Selection Committee (a Professor from IIT Kanpur) left the Committee Room after his interview and was not present in the interviews held for the open posts scheduled later in the day as an expert. Later he also came to know from the website of IIT Kanpur that the member expert who interviewed him was an Electrical Engineer. Gupta who is a Mechanical Engineer could not swallow and decided to use the RTI to bring the truth to the public. He collected copies of TA bills of all the members of the Selection Committees; the minutes of all the interviews held; the record of the Guest House; the invitation letters send to these members and many other documents, from NIT Kurukshetra and from other public authorities including NHAI, New Delhi. Documents available with Gupta claimed on the basis of documents procured under RTI that many of these professors had submitted blank signed copies of the TA bills and minutes of the interviews in collusion with the higher authorities of the NIT. As per the entries made in the TA bills and other enclosures with the these bills, it is apparent that three nominees who were members of all the selection committees for the interviews held were not present at all with one or the other selection committees though the proceedings showed them present at the meetings. In return of this favour to allow the NIT authorities to do things according to their wish, these Professors were given a lavish treatment by the NIT administration. They were given amount claimed by them over and above the norms ot the institute, alleged Gupta. Registrar of the Institute, RPS Lohchab, who was alleged to have attended some of the meetings “unauthorisedly” when contacted, cited the rules of NIT that permitted him to be in the meeting as its secretary. “The allegations are completely false and baseless,” said Lohchab. M N Bandhopadhaya, Director of the Institute, when contacted, refused to comment. Source: An NIT whitleblower uses RTI to expose ‘fake bills’ - Express India
  4. As reported by Vijay Sabharwal of TNN in timesofindia.indiatimes.com on 12 June 2008: Bank insures farmers without their consent-Chandigarh-Cities-The Times of India Bank insures farmers without their consent KURUKSHETRA: A glaring case of misuse of power by the officers of Kurukshetra Central Cooperative Bank has come to light as under an alleged pact with some companies they got as many as 53,352 farmers jointly insured and debited the premium amounts from their accounts without their knowledge. The officers continued to buy and pay for these policies for four years and took out premium amounts worth about Rs 31.19 lakh from the farmers' accounts by recovering the money as loans. In the year 2003, 1,754 farmers of Markanda cooperative society, Shahbad Markanda, and 738 farmers of Kaithal cooperative society were insured and premium amounts worth Rs 1.39 lakh were debited from their accounts. The farmers thought it was some government-sponsored scheme and did not object to it, which provided encouragement to the officers who introduced their self-styled 'welfare' scheme into various other cooperative societies during the next year. These surprising facts came to light recently when a farmer-cum-social worker Gulab Singh sought information regarding this issue under Right to Information Act from Kurukshetra Central Cooperative Bank managing director. According to the reply, officers of cooperative societies got 25,715 members of 24 farmers' cooperatives insured in the year 2004, for which premium amounts worth Rs 15.05 lakh were debited from farmers' accounts by adding those to the loan taken by them. Similarly, in the year 2005, as many as 17,594 farmers, who were members of 16 cooperative societies, were insured by paying premiums worth Rs 10.24 lakh. In 2006, 7,551 members of Ajrawar, Thaski, Miranji, Rohti, Jakhwala, Ismailabad, Amin and Jyotisar cooperative societies were insured and premiums worth Rs 4.50 lakh were debited from their respective accounts.
