Recently PIO of public authority, in a RTI application submitted u/s 6 of the RTI Act, responded to applicant after the stipulated time, you please visit the office of his junior and inspect the file/files, and after inspection of the files obtain the documents by depositing the money itself. Therefore, please provide expert opinions about the issue, as in my opinion no such provision do available to PIO to direct the information seekers under RTI Act. However if applicant desires himself to inspect the files, then option available to applicant to file the RTI application under section 2(j)(I) of the RTI act.

madhulotheti posted a question in Ask for RTI SupportRespected Members, In Jan 2013, I filed a Second Appeal before the CIC through online against the FAA of Ministry of Law & Justice. Since 2 years lapsed, and the same was pending with the CIC, I verified the status of my 2nd appeal,,,,,, then it is stating that the Commission is waiting for my 'SIGNED COPY' of my 2nd Appeal, which due to my ignorance, I have not sent that and further, due to my change of work place from Visakhapatnam to Pune, I do not have the hard copy of my 2nd appeal. Now, in order to send the copy of the same,,,,,, I tried my level best to get the copy from the CIC website with the help of CIC File Number, but except few details,,,,,,, I am unable to retrieve the copy of my 2nd appeal. In the premises aforementioned, I request the Respected Members of this Forum, about how to obtain/retrieve the copy of my 2nd Appeal copy from the CIC website,,, so that I can now send the same to them for adjudication and oblige. With high regards, Madhu
Context : I have purchased an apartment in Visakhapatnam which includes a parking space of 80sft in the Stilt, the same is mentioned in the Registration Document. We have not received the Occupancy Certificate, but have got electricity. It has a a total of 20 flats, 4 or each floor, with a total of five floors. The Builder has 10 flats and the site owner has 10 flats. I have purchased my flat from the builder. The stilt area is cross and it cannot accommodate 20 cars, but the builder has done the marking for 20 spots with no ingress and egress. Now he says that we have to adjust somehow. The site owner says that he has car parking for his 10 flats. I would like to have a look at the building plan as it can no way accommodate 20 cars, which the builder has sold. My apartment is located in Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation Limits. I would like to get a copy of the Building plan and its approval letter to know for how many Car parking slots the plans was approved. So that I can proceed legally if the builder fails to settle the issue. Could you please tell the procedure that I have to follow to get hold a copy of the above mentioned document. Thanks & Regards,
Friends, I am into a situation that my land survey is added to some one else's Patta. I came to know this after couple of years when patta details are available to the public through government website. At this point, kindly let me know if I can request for details of knowing how/why/when my land patta is transferred to some one, through RTI act? Is it applicable? If yes, would you mind writing me the process/details. Thanks, Ganesh.
CineElite posted a question in Ask for RTI SupportMy friend's younger brother and his friends had been arrested three months ago and all have been booked under section 420 & 468. There was this cheating mentioned by police of Rs Three Lakhs. The police arrested them all and recovered the whole amount at the time of arrest. Till date, my lawyer has not shown me a single legal paper regarding the case despite my repeated requests. They have been granted bail, but asked to deposit title deed as security. My questions are.. 1. How can I obtain complete case papers from the court? 2. Under what conditions can the court ask property title deeds to be deposited as security? Even after the cheated money is recovered? I fear the incharge officer with the help of my appointed lawyer have not disclosed it to court about the recovery of money. I am in a different state (not Maharashtra).. The language is different here.. Please please help..
