The erring officials including public information officer of UP State Ganga River Conservation Agency, Lucknow, district magistrates of Saharanpur and Sambhal, chief medical officer of Saharanpur, BSA of Sambhal, district panchayat raj officer of Amroha, district programme officer of Sambhal, district supply officer of Saharanpur, deputy registrar of Vilaspur in Rampur, BSA of Amroha, chief medical officer of BD Baajoriya Hospital of Saharanpur, CMO of Rampur, DIOS of Sambhal, executive engineer at PVVNL, Khatauli of Muzaffarnagar and Najibabad of Bijnor district, Block development officer of Deengarpur in Moradabad, BDO Nahtaur and Afjalgarh of Bijnor district, BDO Gangoh in Saharanpur and village secretary of Jaleelpur area in Bijnor district, have been slapped with the fine. According to sources, the fine has come as a surprise to the officials concerned.

It is intimated that information material charges appended below , may please be forwarded to this office in the form of Postal Orded/DD in favour of GSO-1,RTI Fund payable at New Delhi:- a) Rs @/- x No of pages. i.e 02x04=Rs 08/- 4. information will be provided to you on receipt of information material charges. _______________________________ Now sir my query is that how should i sent this extra charges?? Should i post them Rs 10 PO directly or do we get PO is Rs 8? Do i have to attach copy o this letter along with this?
Hi, I am sending an RTI application to the Deputy Registrar by Register AD.Have got all the info required from this website. So have affixed the Rs 10 court stamp as per the Maharashtra state requirement for RTI. My question is, since I have asked for the reply by post, do I have to put in amount of Rs 20-30 for the A4 pages used to write my reply as well as for the postal reply charges. And if yes, how do I do that, as in put the money in the same envelope, a cheque, etc?? Alwyn

Hi, I made a submission addressed to a higher authority, through proper channel. Suspecting that it was not forwarded by the head of my institution, I requested under RTI "whether my submission dated .... was forwarded to ....?" The PIO of my institution replied after 35 days that "query need not be answered" Is there a provision in RTI which empowers the PIO not to answer this type of a query? PIO send RTI reply by ordinary post. Our post man is very easy to be manipulated. So I wanna get RTI replies either by HAND or by REGD. POST only, I am ready to pay extra money also , Is it possible,if yes, how??? What steps should I take????
