You can send the RTI application by post. The application fee of Rs 10 can be paid by enclosing a postal order (available in post offices for Rs 11).

If you want you can go to the office personally and deposit the fee of Rs 10 in cash. In that case do not forget to get cash receipt and acknowledgement for your application.

Sending by post will be treated as equal to submission in person or will I have to go through the red-tapism by getting answers that as it was by post, so this & that ?

Should I send it by Speed Post / Ordinary Post ?

Send it by speed post. You will get an EMS number which you can use to track the status on the India Post website. Once the status shows 'delivered' take a printout of the delivery report. This will be the proof of delivery of the letter.

hi dear...

i wana file RTI on DDA to knw abt the status of allotment of LIG flats booked in 1982..in rohini..it has been more than 25 years bt still no clue abt the allotment..please lemme knw if neone has ne information abt it...thankyou
