0 Prasad GLN 1,761
20 pages in their Diary was allocated to Officers and designations and addresses . They should have atleast added one sentence on RTI that all Divisional Managers are CPIOs under RTI Act. As the diary is within reach of several crores of policy holders, the matter should have become simple with such one sentence. Hon.Karira should write this to LIC Chairman. Just one sentence in their Diary/calendar on RTI. (This has to be made applicable for all those depts., that publish the diary.
0 Moderators jps50 1,580 Posted July 27, 2014 Moderators Share Posted July 27, 2014 All branch heads of LIC are designated as ACPIO under RTI Act. Hence you can submit at any branch of LIC with cash of Rs.10/- by referring: Central Govt. application: http://www.rtiindia.org/forum/blogs/jps50/19-rti-application-central-govt-info.html HOW TO FILE RTI: http://www.rtiindia.org/forum/blogs/jps50/93-how-make-rti-application-effective.html ACPIO will forward to appropriate CPIO within 5 days under intimation to you, depending upon subject matter of RTI application.. Since all branch heads of LIC are designated as ACPIO under RTI Act, you can submit application at any branch by paying Rs.10 in cash and amending clause 4 of RTI application to read as "Filing Fee: Paid Rs.10 in cash to ACPIO" and obtaining dated acknowledgement on photocopy of RTI application from branch head with his rubber stamp.
