Moderators jps50 1,580 Posted January 14, 2015 Moderators Share Posted January 14, 2015 I am attaching OM of DoPT dated 24-06-2008 which is very relevant to this episode. TNSIC case should be taken to HC as a PIL for right of common citizen to sit on chair in govt offices. The ICs involved in this case, may have imbibed habit of standing before their higher-ups, when in regular service of govt and even before petty politicians. However, appellant is neither their subordinate nor can be compelled to respect. This episode speaks of quality of ICs being selected by Govt of TN too. Moderators jps50 1,580 Posted January 18, 2015 Moderators Share Posted January 18, 2015 I understand that National Human Rights Commission has registered complaint against ICs of TNSIC. The Regn. No. is : 104/22/13/2015.Complaint is registered at the instance of TAHRIR ( Transparency, Accountability & Human Rights initiative for revolution ) is a Bareilly/Lucknow based Social Organization, working at grass-root level by taking up & solving issues related to strengthening transparency & accountability in public life and protection of Human Rights in India. It can be tracked at http://nhrc.nic.in/display.asp Good action. Shri Shailesh Gandhi's petition would have also played positive role in registration of this complaint by NHRC.
