akhilesh yadav 138 Posted January 14, 2015 Share Posted January 14, 2015 The Taj Mahal Palace and Tower hotel will have to pay Rs 63 lakh to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for occupying a Colaba road. The road, approximately 1,350 square meters in area, is in front and around the hotel premises. A Right To Information (RTI) application filed by activist Sanjay Gurav revealed that despite several reminders to the hotel management, sent from August 2011 till date, the authorities did nothing regarding the matter. Prasad GLN 1,758 Posted January 14, 2015 Share Posted January 14, 2015 Flower pots are not hut dwellings of poor and Rs.63 lakhs are not substantial to BMC, and Colaba Road is not that busy according to BMC. Link to post Share on other sites
