next step Regarding different address in IPO,,,,,,,

Dear Sir,

 

I have submitted RTI as well as first appeal but by mistake I have mentiond different address (current address in IPO while permanent address for communication). May it be the reason of rejecting RTI application? If no then I will go for second appeal.

Have you received reply from PIO? Different address on IPO cannot be a reason to reject RTI application.

 

Information can be rejected only on any of the grounds under section 8 or 9.

 

If you have not received response from PIO even after 40 days or not satisfied with PIO's decision, please file first appeal within 30 days before first appellate authority.

No one cares to read address on IPO to compare with application and it is not necessary and only name is important. If you have written the name of payee and at which office it is payable it is sufficient. If you fail to receive information within 40 days from date of your registering (Post) the application, treating the information as deemed denial you have to file first appeal. Count 40 days and file first appeal to FAA of same organisation stating Grounds: PIO has neither provided information nor denied information within 30days statutory stipulated period, hence treating the information as deemed denial, this first Appeal. PRAYER: Please direct PIO to provide information free of cost. (enclose copy of RTI Application with such service proof)
