Dear member, you can proceed by two options.

The first option is making an application to RTA as per concerned state RTI Rules and regulations and

seeking information on "

1) The time frame within which RC book has to be delivered after receiving the application as per service

delivery rules and Citizen charter.

2)Reasons for inordinate delay

3)Name of the employee, designation and mobile no with whom the application was resting without any action.

You can search and find RTI Application format prescribed in RTI Guide segment of this portal and you have

to affix Adhesive Court fee stamp of Rs.10/- on your RTI Application and send it by Regd. post only.

2.Wait for 40days and if you have not received file First Appeal to FAA as per State rules and regulations.

The second option is issuing Regd., notice under CP Act claiming damages for deficiency of services in not

delivery of RC Book in time.

Have you been to the RTO and met the officer there to check as to what is the problem ?

First visit the RTO where you registered the car and check the status.
