Hon. Karira Sir,

Are you receiving a Priority in Hearing at SIC/CIC as you are a senior citizen ?

I am still not a senior citizen...hence no priority.

In fact, when they see my name....my appeals go at the bottom of the pending pile ....or simply get "lost".

What I mean is whether atleast Senior Citizens are getting priority in CIC appeals/complaints as per their earlier RTI Rules and Regulations or they have been scrapped quoting some Namita Sarma's case ?

You are not the only one, I suspect even that they have created software in their systems to eliminate some names in data feeding itself, so that even a new entrant can not accept that appeal itself ? (lighter side)

There are many CIC orders and/or Minutes of meeting where officers/staff of CIC have been directed to maintain such registers and also that mention should be made in the order itself that the case was heard on priority and the reasons thereof.

However, I have not seen any order from CIC which mentions any such thing.
