Hello,

CASE WON IN OUR FAVOUR DURING THE YEAR 1965 TO 1977 IN CHENNAI BUT COPY MISPLACED WRT TO IMMOVABLE PROPERTY. HOW DO I GET AND FROM WHOM AND HOW TO APPROACH. ALSO I DO HAVE THE PROPERTY DESCRIPTION, SURVEY NUMBER, PLOT NUMBER AND STREET NAME, DISTRICT ETC

Contact any advocate and give him duly signed Vakalat and in a week you can get certified copy of such judgment.

(But make sure as to whether further appeal was pending at any higher court also though it is not possible without serving you notice, as in India every thing is possible)

it is not clear that why it is not striking to your mind to contact the lawyer who fought your case in court as he will be having your case file in which the copy of the judgement also will be generally filed and you can ask for xerox copy which will be useful to you to obtain athenticated copy from the court for which you need to proceed through your lawyer only.
