best way Mistake in applicant address on filed RTI

Respected Sir/Madam, i have filed an RTI through the online web portal but i made a mistake in the correspondence address. I selected a different 'state' which has no connection with the given pin code. How can i edit the same? Or should i file same RTI again with the correct applicant address?

Dear member, forget it and kindly send RTI application by speed post. Online RTI is only for the central government offices located in Delhi.

It is related to Reliance telecom ltd (a pvt co). Therfore i opted online web portal and selected telecom dept.

Aggreed. But the company reliance telecom ltd. must be shares of govt since the name contains "limited". So i think my rti can be accepted. And i noticed on online portal, state is not mentioning "applicant state of residence/correspondence" is not marked mandatory but the adress box is marked mandatory. I put correct address and pin. Letz see the result soon. Thanks.

Private entities are not under the ambit of RTI. However, you can obtain information with regard to private entities from the PIO of regulatory authorities, which information are held by and under the control of such regulatory authoriy subject to exemptions. In this case, TRAI is the regulatory authority for telecom and DoT is the regulatory authority for the Spectrum. As already mentioned, if you give more details, our members would be able to guide you further.
