first appeal - address not available

hello,

is it necessary that a FAA always belong to the same office/sits in the same office as PIO.

we are trying to file a first appeal on a reply received but couldnt find the FAA details and the PIO doesnt state it either in the reply.

can we file the First appeal to the same office referring to FAA. ?

The FAA was required to advise you the name and address of the FAA. Since he did not do so, you may file First Appeal addressed as under to the APIO or PIO

and submit by Speed Post or Registered Post Ack due. If the office of FAA is at a different location, the APIO in office of PIO shall transmit your appeal to the FAA's office.

The procedure not providing of appeal particulars may also amount to preventing appeal process, which has to be taken seriously.

the FAAwill be of the same department and generally may sit in the same building as most of the government offices are housed in a multi storied buildings while the FAA is providing details of CIC/SIC compulsorily but PIO's in several cases are not providing the details of FAA . never mind and you file your first appeal to the FAA c/o PIO and as usual send it by speed/ registered post to track your post and thereby wait for the reply from the FAA- 45+postal days

It is not necessary that a FAA always belongs to the same office/sits in the same office as PIO. You can know the adress of FAA by making a simple call to PIO's office. In your case who is the PIO?
