The NDA government has constituted a committee to examine the provisions of the Official Secrets Act (OSA), framed by the British in 1923, in the light of the Right To Information Act (RTI), amid growing clamour to declassify the files related Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

The first meeting of the panel, which consists of Secretaries of Home, Law and Personnel, would be held Thursday. Read more at;

नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस से संबंधित सभी फाइलों को सार्वजनिक करने की बढ़ती मांग के बीच अधिकारियों की तीन सदस्यीय समिति ने गुरुवार को बैठक की। इसमें तय हुआ कि सरकारी दस्तावेजों को गोपनीय रखने के मौजूदा दिशानिर्देशों की समीक्षा की जाएगी। गृह, कानून और कार्मिक मंत्रालय के सचिवों वाली इस समिति ने सरकारी गोपनीयता कानून में संशोधन की जरूरतों से संबंधित पूर्व सुझावों की भी व्यापक समीक्षा का फैसला किया। इस समिति का बुधवार को ही गठन किया गया था। Read more at;

Kolkata: Subhas Chandra Bose's grandnephew said on Sunday that there seemed to be a disconnect with RTI replies that they were getting from bureaucracy from PMO’s office and the Ministry of External Affairs.

Bringing in FORGOTTEN ISSUES is only to divert the people's attention and nothing else.Even if the files are disclosed some one will contest about its VERACITY (GENUINESS0 then they will apoint some commision etc., Great politics on dead leaders
