NGOs told to disclose info under RTI Act

BHOPAL: State information commission has passed an order directing all substantially financed NGOs of the state to make proactive disclosure of information under section 4 of RTI Act. This will require NGOs to disclose a 17-point query list of the organisation under section 4 (1) (b) of RTI Act, 2005, and also appoint public information officers.Read more at;

Mostof the NGOs are started for moneymaking and not for SERVICE and they are not even sending their EXPENDITURE DETAILS to the Ministry/department concerned and recently more than ONE THOUSAND SUCH NGOs were black listed by centre.Let us see whether MP state will implement it
