0 Prasad GLN 1,795
In letters there is no provision of affixing rubber stamp. PIO is supposed to affix rubber stamp only in case of certificates and not letters. Even if the letter is not affixed by Rubber stamp, the letter is treated as proper for further appeal process.
0 MANOJ B. PATEL 21
Dear member, It depends on what you asked for in your RTI application. Did you ask for "copies" only ? If yes, then there is no need for a rubber stamp on each copy. In any case, CPIO would have replied on a letter head and signed that letter where the pages/copies are attached. Moreover, If the certifying officer is entitled to use an Official stamp , then he is required to put it on the certified documents , otherwise not .
