NEW DELHI: PM Narendra Modi and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal are on the same page on this one. Both have declined to make records of their visitors' public though for different reasons.

 

Bihar-based Rohit Kumar had asked Kejriwal's office for details of individuals who made official requests for appointment and those who had been granted an appointment. Kumar also sought to know criteria for granting appointment with the Delhi CM.

 

Responding to the application CMO said that no records or list of appointments were maintained and so could not be revealed.

 

Kumar had earlier sought similar information from PMO. The information was denied on the ground that it may threaten the security and sovereignty of India. ``This is ridiculous. I have challenged the PMO's decision with the central information commission (CIC)," he said. Read more at;
