Gratuity claim Status

Gratuity is a nominal account and created as Reserve and this can not be disclosed/stated in writing, as payment of gratuity to employee depends on years of service and is subject to conditions. This becomes a right, only after resignation or on retirement without any disciplinary proceedings. However, one may arrive at gratuity amount depending on the salary drawn by him and years of completed service.

If you have retired or resigned you are eligible for gratuity , you may seek the address of the concerned authority in the organisation, with such designation and file a complaint immediately. Every organisation should designate one official for gratuity matters and every organization should necessarily display rules and regulations in the work premises. This is a statutory obligation.
