i have completed my degree from the global open university nagaland is it valid. my roll no. is TGOU/B.COM/3989/ACC/2007J

MY DEGREE PERIOD IS 2007 TO 2010.

Search in website of GOU, Nagaland, find out their procedure for verification of your degree, file prescribed application with prescribed fee and get a validation certificate.

This forum is dedicated for guiding citizens in seeking information from Public Authorities under RTI Act and is not competent to judge on validity of degree obtained by citizens after 9 years and verify the genuineness , as those who secured must be knowing the fact as to whether that degree was obtained through laid down procedure or not)

One can only advise on the fact that even employers are sending such certificates for verification, and every citizen is entitled to obtain such qualification certificate from Public Authority, and if the certificate turns out fake, the employee who submitted the same is liable for summary dismissal and for further criminal action. Hence those days of deriving benefit at the expense of really deserving candidates by submitting fake degrees are gone.

If you have obtained admission in an affiliated college of the University as a regular student, studied in that college, submitted proper assignments and appeared for the examination, you have no reason to doubt the genuineness of the certificate.

 

Every university has a prescribed procedure and fee for verification of certificates / mark sheets or for obtaining Transcript. Please contact your university and follow the prescribed procedure.

In case you have not enrolled or studied or appeared for examination but simply obtained the degree by illegal means, it would be dangerous to approach the university with fake degree for verification.

 

In case the university is not cooperating, to part with procedure for verification of mark sheet, please file RTI Application with the PIO of the University and seek the :

 

[1] Certified copy of the procedure laid down by the University for verification of Mark Sheets and certificates, including the prescribed format, prescribed fee details and list of mandatory documents to be submitted for such verification.

The Degree taken by the student in any other mean...might be its not valid . But those student who hv done all the formalities of University n genuine. But its not the fault of student this days very one for looking for shortcut. So they used to find a way to get the certificate. We r getting many query regarding the verifications of degree from the Global Open University Nagaland . N wat we found is many student hv pending fee .so without giving fee how can a person expect tht the University will issue degree or mark sheet.

We r based in dimapur n doing this job of verification of marksheet n degree . If any buddy interested plz do reply xxxxxxxx . We will try to solve the case if ur an genuine student of TGOU.

The problem is that we are not receiving any feed back by those members giving suspicion that those degrees were purchased through a fake institution.

One can not understand the need for referring the matter to private persons, when such authentic verification can be obtained from the Universities as per a laid down procedure.

Why ?  Don't you know whether you have studied, appeared and passed through an affiliated college with recognised university by UGC ?

This forum can only help members in seeking information from Public authorities under RTI Act, and this is not connected to any public organization.

Search for website of the University and they might have stated the way one has to apply for such verification certificate for reasonable fee.

If you have doubts on your degree, never apply for such verification, as it may land you in problems if it is a fake degree.
