If information is urgent and important you can contact Advocate and file writ through him.

Before that you must file non compliance of SIC decision to SIC and mark a copy to PIO and FAA. Wait for a month and then during the gap make arrangements for writ. In your complaint you have to make a statement and discuss as which information was not provided and as to why you are not satisfied. All this helps in your writ.

This is not an easy task and unless the information is urgent and important, we discourage filing writs in view of expenses, delay .

Our guidance in RTI stops with Commission and our fourm is not having experts in law that can prepare writs, even without knowing facts, as issues may differ from application to application.

Take HC Legal services authority's guidance also.

You may consult a lawyer practising in High Court and file WRit Petition through him.

Dear Varun, you may file a complaint case under section 18 of RTI act before the Chief Information Commissioner of the state against the concerned PIO. The PIO can also be again show caused and punished by the commission on the ground of non-supply of information and disobedience of the order of commission.

So you can file a complaint case before your state CIC or opt to file writ before your state HC.

The chances are that HC writ may not succeed, as appellant has not explored the remedy under RTI Act on non compliance of IC directions by PIO .
