what to do Govt Land

Plz suggest how to get details of available govt land records in any particular area with details of the maps too. Kindly provide the RTI format as well for the same.

The records belonging to Govt. lands are handled by Revenue dept with Panchayat, Block /tehasil and District Level. The thing most persons may not be knowing that there is a Central place / Hub where a record was kept permanently, and periodical changes will be recorded as and when there are changes. So, if one wants to make a change in the records of 2016 even, he can not dare to make, as those original replica is available with Central location, that can be accessed in case of doubt of fabrication or modification at lower levels.

 

Coming to the point such Maps with survey number , extent, Present possession etc are available with Grama Panchayat / Village Revenue officers / Tehasildars / Revenue Divisional Officers. SO depending on your necessity, you can simply file RTI Application and you have to follow the RTI format prescribed by that authority and remit fees of Rs.10/- as prescribed by that authority. The website of that public authority --Rules and regulations informs the Public information officer, format of application, mode of remitting fees. The simple information you can seek may be as follows:

1)Please provide me the details of Government Revenue Lands with such survey number, extent in Village of ......................with such maps of that village.
