Regarding disposal of online comp against cpio filed at CIC

1.It depends on the speed of the relevant IC, on availability of such IC (most of the time  ICs in sufficient numbers are not provided).  The normal time is between 9 months to 18 months.

2.Personal appearance of appellant/complainant is not mandatory and the hearing notice specifically states that.   There is no doubt that if the information is important, getting better decision is almost certain.  In absence of appellant, IC should take a decision depending on facts as per records, and most of the time, ICs do not have such time to read any thing.  The best alternative is filing a very brief submission of arguments in writing preferably through fax and confirming by making a call that arguments were placed in file.
