₹5 deduction in railway ticket cancellation

Hi Team,

I have booked a ticket from Pune to Nagpur Azad Hind on 8 Feb 2020 for 13 Feb 2020, and from Nagpur to Pune Azad Hind on same day for 16 Feb 2020 from Khadki Railway station by Debit card. I have calcalled those two tickets on 11 Feb 2020. The tickets costed ₹475, and as the cancellation charge is ₹60, I should have got ₹415, but I got ₹410 for both the tickets.

Now, I am thinking for asking for clarification for the ₹5 * 2 = ₹10 rupees. Is this ok? I know that they will again make excuses like everytime.

If I have properly understood your query, this is the query:

, I should have got ₹415, but I got ₹410 for both the tickets.

Please value the time/space of voluntary forum, members, public authorities, and your time also, as fighting for Rs.5/- you might have wasted more than Rs.100/- by now.

Please do not misuse the forums.

Last month I paid ₹37,000 as Income tax.

This month its expected to be ₹40,000.

And as given in link, one of the citizen is fighting for ₹2 after fighting for ₹35 for 2 years (which he won).

What I feel is this is a law which govt have given us, let leverage that.

I am filing RTI online, at it costs only ₹10. (I am software engineer).

Kindly don't take me wrong...

I am not breaking any law, I am following it.

And if everything goes well, maybe by end of the year, I am not be in India, so I want to solve all this now.
