hi My post office ppf a/c number is lost

Hi,

 

I have lost my PPF passbook and account details. Unfortunately, I have lost my PPF account number as well. But I remember the post office where my PPF account was opened. I want to close my PPF .

 

This PPF account was operated for my self deposits and nominee is my son. Iam  64 years old

 

How can I retrieve the PPF account number?

 

Can you pls help?

Post this as grievance in PGRMS on line portal  or in Indiapost website.  If you have availed any exemptions in the past, get that account number from ITO through filing of RTI Application.
