The Indian postal order for RTI fees are always payable to Accounts officer, ..........................(Public Authority: like Ministry of Home , Ministry of HRD , DOPT ) at ...............the location of the CPIO (Station). like Mumbai, Delhi  This is general for each and every postal order for central Government.

In some states, it can also be drawn as payable to State Information officer.

The first step towards learning RTi is studying the individual website of that public authority for fomat and payment of RTI fees.

In case of doubt, some leave the columns blank and write a request on application.  Kindly assist applicant by filling IPO as per your rules and regulations.
