I am told that the Apex Court has passed some order wherein the delay beyond 30 days for PIO has been waived due to Covid-19; would appreciate if anyone can upload this order pl. Thanks

Please get back to the same post and report you find such order as many members may not be aware of such order.

(Really no one is bothered about delay and the focus is only on getting information.  Matured applicant and PIOs are aware the real and practical problems involved.  Once a second appeal is filed for the delay it takes minimum 3 years to get such hearing date and there is no instance known to me where IC imposed fine on any PIO that provided information and after such convincing explanation to IC. The appellant has nothing to do with other remedies than right to information and the rest is left to sole discretion of IC alone.)
