Unregistered deed record law

We observed that my land document not obtained from survey no.nor any other resources in Mamlatdar/Talati office by simple application as well as RTI Channels.What is preservation period of land deed document in Sub register,Mamlatdar/Talati office as per law?Any clause for that?If stolen or misplaced by authority,what is action?

The records of Registered  are permanent in nature at Sub Registrar's office and as well Revenue. The records of such deeds are written in a book that is segregated by volume no, year, page no and it can not be stolen as they are written in a Register.  You can file RTI Application and seek such information from SR and M/T-O authorities.

(What is unregistered deeds to do with Registrar office ??  Registered deeds are always with purchaser.  Copy at Sub Registrar office as a record in re writing the recitals date wise , through which certified copies are given under the Act)
