Pradish123 0
As per RTI act PIO is duty bound to seek the consent of Third party (person other than applicant) in connection to disclosures where third parties are involved. Keeping this in mind and in order to understand length and breadth of third party disclosure my case is as follows; Applicant has sought information of Govt Company (say XYZ ltd) Board minutes from the year 2017 onwards i.e for last 3 years. As per the understanding PIO shall provide such information to the citizen of India. As Board minutes contain vital information of the company, further it includes information pertaining to multiple third parties (like vendors, employees, directors, etc) what shall be the position of PIO on the disclosure of such critical document considering the position of Third parties ?. Under above circumstances, how PIO shall act in order to disseminate the information to applicant and parallelly protect the interest of third parties.
