J.SOMASEKARA 0
INDIAN BANKS ASSOCIATION WHICH DOES NOT COME UNDER RTI HAS AUTHORITY TO NEGOTIATE PENSION REVISION OF RETIRED EMPLOYEES WITH UNIONS AND SEND PROPOSAL OF RECOMMENDATION TO FINANCE MINISTRY FOR APPROVAL. WHETHER ANY DOCUMENTS PROVIDED BY SUCH ORGANIZATION TO GOVT WILL BECOME PROPERTY OF GOVT. CAN WE SEEK COPIES OF DOCUMENTS PROVIDED TO GOVT BY SUCH NON RTI INSTITUTION UNDER RTI ACT 2005?
Prasad GLN 1,806
Any person or organization can submit any document to Govt, once it is received by that Public Authority from any source, it becomes a Public record and must be disclosed under RTI Act. Any citizen can seek such information from CPIO, MOF as this is in no way confidential. Either MOF provides information or denies information stating such valid exemption. Depending on such denial, applicant can explore first appeal and second appeal options.
