Question

My mother was born in Maharashtra in 1968 and her parents were residents of Maharashtra too,  and my father was born in 1966 in kerala. Thereafter my father moved to Maharashtra in 1973 and has been living here every since, i was born in Maharashtra and have lived here ever since. I fit in all the eligibility criteria's prescribed for obtaining the EWS certificate. however the tehsildar's office is asking for a proof showing that my "family" has been living in Maharashtra since 1967. I understand the for the state government ews certificate it might be required , but why would i need it for the central government's EWS certificate? also can i use my mothers side of family to show my ancestry in Maharashtra?  and if not in Maharashtra where can i get my ews certificate made?

First file RTI Application and seek information as follows:

Information solicited:

1.Please provide me the certified copy of laid down procedure and documents required for issuing EWS certificate for Government of India use.

There is no such rule that states that one has to submit proof that the applicant's family is living at a particular place for EWS, unless there is such a specific provision in law or laid down stipulation in Government order.

Your query should be opened as new post .  First edit and remove the signature. File RTI Application to the institution that lent the money and seek such laid down norms as certified copy, go through the details and decide.  You can seek such copy from any Public Sector Bank by filing on line RTI Application and have to pay Rs.10/- as RTI fee and Rs.2/- per A4 size copy.

You can seek information as follows:

Information solicited:

1. Please provide me the copy of notification/order that states  laid down norms or the guidelines to asses the financials of a MSME unit having initial 12 months moratorium.

2.Please provide me copy of relevant extract in any order/notification that gives clarification on a borrowed MSME unit financials be assessed without having commercial production during 1st. year (Project implementation period.) and on treating this period as loss making unit
