questions to ask Parents Taking care of School Class

Hi,

 

My son is studying in Primary Section of a Borivali convent School in Mumbai. I was shocked to know that when the class teacher is absent parents of the wards are called to take care of the class for the whole day. If parents refuse to oblige they have been questioned in PTA (Parents Teachers Assosiation) meet. Is their such rule where parents are asked to take care of the class.

Dear Mr. Patel,

 

I personally don't think that this would be the ruling officialy. RTI can help you in many ways. You may ask for the copy of minutes of meeting of PTA meet for that school using RTI Act. You can ask about the data about the status of the class whose teacher use to be on leave (Backup teachers). Moreover you can file a written complaint to the concerned board of the school (CBSE, Mahastra board) etc about this and then file an RTI application about progress on your complaint, actions taken on your complaint etc.
