The petitioner might have failed to bring it to the notice of the Hon'ble high court that FAA can take a Max. of 45 days(about 6 weeks) in accordance with RTI. If probably prayed the Hon'ble court could have given 6 weeks time which would have saved 2 weeks for the petitioner. Hope the FAA will decide in 6 weeks as 8 weeks given by the court could be max. but in accordance with law the FAA may decide in 6 weeks.

This is an order very bad in law. The HC cannot pass such orders when the Act/Statute itself provides remedy in Sec 19(6).

 

If there was no order from the FAA, the applicant should have approached the SIC in second appeal.
