chandru 0
Hello Friends, I would like to have your views on my doubt. When the regular CPIO is on long leave, whether the Officer having Additional Charge over the Administrative Unit to attend the regular day to day function can furnish inormation under RTI in the capacity of CPIO in the absence of any specific Notification therof? Administrators Shrawan 823 Posted June 6, 2007 Administrators Share Posted June 6, 2007 under the RTI Act, the PIO of the Department, in your case the controlling authority of the CPIO would have to delegate the power to another CPIO by written orders; if in case it is not done, the original CPIO had to deal with the applications and the clock does not stop during the absence.
